Kings Island Part Two

I had a really fun time at Kings Island!

The first day we all met up at church at 6 am and then headed off for a 4 to 5 hour bus drive to Ohio.

About half way through the ride we stopped at the mall for lunch.

And then got back in the bus for a long drive !!!

Once we finally got there and divided into groups with our friends we went on the rides! I was in the "I'll ride anything in the park group" I didn't take any pictures but I got some videos. They aren't the best though. Here's a video of me and some friends on the "Drop Tower". The "Dr'op Tower" is where you go just over 315 feet in the air and then randomly drop. It's so fun! But the first time I went on it I was really scared! And then the video after that is when I went on the "Sling Shot" it was so fun!

I really don't want summer to end! (: My next trip is King's Island Theme park in Ohio with my youth group. I'm leaving at 6 am tomorrow, (or technically today. Considering I'm gonna have to get up at 5 am, it's probably not the best idea to be blogging at midnight(; ) at meeting at church to leave! I'm really excited! Last year when I went I was a little timid about going on the roller coasters at first, but by the end I was going on all the huge ones and now I love them! I can't wait!!

My favorite ride (since last year) is DIAMOND BACK. It has a 215 ft straight down drop and is 80 mph. Here's a picture of the top part of the drop. It almost takes about 5 minutes to get up to the drop its so fun!

I'm taking my camera so I'll be sure to get a bunch of pictures! Can't wait to show everyone!!!

So VBS at our church started this Sunday. This year I am too old to participate but instead I am leading a crew. My crew is 4 and 5 year old girls.

The activities we have is crafts, drama, Chadder the Chipmunk videos, games in the gym, and snack time.

Student Life Camp

Hello friends. You may have noticed that I haven't blogged in a while. That is because summer has begun. WHOOO! This past week I have been at Student Life Camp at Look Out Mountain, Georgia.

Here's a brief explanation of almost everything we did...

We arrived at the college around two or so on Wednesday after a lunch at the mall. Then we immediately got the keys to our dorms and went to go put our luggage away. After that we went to the church building on the college campus for worship. Then we spent the rest of the day just getting settled and such.

The next day we got up early for morning celebration and worship and then left around 10:00 to go do mission work. My group worked at a backyard VBS for the kids at Greenwood Terrace. We colored with chalk, played on the playground, played basketball, played kickball, did arts and crafts, did face paint, and even did a giant parachute toy!

We always had a few hours of free time each day.

Then we went back to worship, then to late night party in the cafeteria, and then to our dorms, and then stayed up half the night! (:

That was pretty much the exact same schedule for the next three days.

Then on the last day, we got up, ate breakfast, went to our church group bible study and to worship, then went home. It was a great week! I had over 500 pictures! Wish I could have posted them all! (: HAPPY SUMMER!

Hello fellow Drama Llama readers. This is Sol. You may be wondering, "How on earth is a little adorable baby like Sol typing?" Well, you curious people, I am smart! You might also be wondering, "Why is the worlds cutest baby on his sister's blog?" Well, you curious people, I have something to tell you!

You might have noticed that I have extremely fat legs! Talk about Thunder Thighs! Well, instead of ordering the Jillian Michael's exercise plan, I decided to create my own. Allow me to tell you how it all began...

So my older sister, Michaela, was playing with me. She put me down on the floor. Now I was quite disgusted by the floor so I screamed as loud as I could. She got mad and started kicking the door. LIGHT-BULB! I knew what to do!
KICK THE DOOR! It works so well! Just do it 107 times a day! You must stay concentrated! This is hard work people! But it has amazing results!

Easter and Such

By far, Easter is my favorite holiday. (other than Christmas that is!) Easter is a day full of celebrating!
The Sunday before Easter my friend, Bethany came over and helped me hide eggs with other people from my neighborhood for our neighborhoods' Easter egg hunt.

Friday night we went to a Good Friday service at our church. Afterward I went to an Easter egg hunt in the dark with Bethany at their neighbors house.

On Easter Sunday we went to church and then had an Easter egg hunt at our house! It was a great Easter! HE IS RISEN!!(:

Mission Trip

Last weekend I went on a mission trip with my youth group to Against the Grain in Franklin, Tennessee.

After arriving we had a picnic lunch. Then we went to different houses in the neighborhood and cleaned up. Afterwards we played with the kids.

We stayed over-night at a local church.

The next day we came back and played with the kids all day long!! It was an amazing trip!!

Breakaway 2011

Last weekend I went to a church spring retreat called, Breakaway. Breakaway is about breaking away from the every day things that we deal with. It was very fun!!(: First we came to church and then we hung out and then got started with worship. Later we got into our small-groups. After all that we went on to our host homes. Pictureess!!....

When It Exploded

So ya know those cool little water wiggler things....

Well while I was at the Fall Retreat my team won and I got one as a prize. It didn't last long though. I was messing around with Ben sitting by my mesh trash can when I held some sewing scissors up to it. (I didn't know how thin it was!) It popped. Blue water went everywhere!!
So if you look at my nifty little collage below, (I make all my collages and words on the pictures on picnik.) You will see the steps I used to clean it up.

Step one- pour water and soap into the spot and scrub hard. Step two- dry with a towel and then blow dry the rug. Step three- clean surrounding objects (such as mesh trash cans) with a damp towel. Step four- check out your clean rug!!

I hope those help you if you ever get stuff on your rug! lol. Also, this special post comes with a lesson, Water Wigglers Are Dangerous!!!! lol

An Interesting Dinner

So tonight I made my own dinner. I was gonna just make pasta, which I normally do when I cook alone. But something caught my eye in the pantry. It was perfect.

Thats right. Rice and Pasta Salad. Although it tasted a bit plain, it filled me up. I also got the boys to help me. We had a lot of fun. Even Sarah did. You never know, it might be a classic one day:)

Today is like my favorite day ever!! (well besides Christmas and my birthday and the first day of summer and Easter and alot of other days) Well are you wondering what day it is? Um wait no you are not because you read the post name!! Today is the first day of a pretty little season named Fall!!! I LOVE FALL!!!!!! Here's 5 super awesome things about Fall!!!!

1. a whole bunch of colorful leaves fall down!! It's like tye dye snow!!!!

2. Thanksgiving!! Such a fun holiday!! I love holidays!

3. the weather is epic!!!!

4. it just makes me happy and in a better mood.

5. I don't know I'm running out of ideas....

Nail-biting, Encounter, and Shutterfly Scrapbooks!

I only have 5 days left on my 31 day goal! That means I haven't bitten my nails for 29 days! woo hoo! Ha I was gonna use a calculator but I figured it out my self! yay!

I just got back from Middle School Encounter. It was a lot of fun! Encounter is when the middle schoolers from our church get to go to someones house and eat dinner and play games and hang out. It was really fun! I don't have any pictures though. :(

I got my Shutterfly Scrapbook in the mail the other day! It's soo cool! I even got it on this special offer where you get the scrapbook free (not including s&h) !!!!! It's super awesome!! In my next post I'll post some pictures of it It's soo cool!!!!

So I'm super exhausted but I can give you an update on my Nail biting Success. By the way everyone, thanks for the encouragement!:) ok so here we are!!!!! PICTURES! awww the webcam is not working right now......:'( so how bout....... Ok so when I complete the goal I'm gonna buy nail-polish!! (I haven't painted my nails at all through the goal) I'm planning on getting the nice little 99 cent "bon bons". They have some pretty cool colors and just for 99 cents! woo hoo!

So I have a bad habit. We all do! Mine is nail-biting. (ewwwww!!!) So I found out that it takes 31 days to stop a habit, so here I go!! Here we are day 2 :

They aren't even half an inch long!!

For school the other day I preformed a skit about the Iron age. It was called..... "The Iron Age.... Bringing you back to 1800 BC" I think it turned out pretty well. There was costumes, at set, and I was even hitting a massive rock with a hammer! LOL!

The Iron Age was a historical time where almost every cutting tool or weapon was mainly made of iron. The iron age was caused by changes in society, agricultural practices, religious beliefs, and artistic styles. Before the iron age there was the bronze age/ Bronze was used instead of iron because of its lower melting point. People started using iron in 1800 BC when for some unknown reason bronze was very scarce.

Sorry I've been behind in blogging. But I've also been behind the tissue. That's right, I have a cold! My nose is red, I've been sneezing like crazy, not to mention I have to blow my nose every ten seconds

But I remember I did tell you I would blog about birthdays and summer camps but our main computer is down so I don't have any birthday pics and I'm using camp pictures from facebook. First up.... Birthdays!

So first is Ben's bday. He turned 13 (oh great!) and I got him some sunglasses.

So last is Jaden's bday. He turned 4 (the terrible fours! or is is the terrible twos?) and I got him some sunglasses too. Up Next.... camp!

So a few 4-5th graders from our church drove up to Kentucky with Miss Amber, Ms. Sue, and Mr. Berry to arrive at Centri Kid Camp. We stayed at Cambellsville University College. When we got there we learned about our tracks. Our tracks are the classes we would take. We each got to take two classes. Mine were drama and cooking! In drama we learned a skit and acting exercises! In cooking we made cookie monsters!

We also had OMC which stands for Organized Mass Chaos. Here's a picture.

Blogs And Songs And Small Groups

I have three things to blog about today and I'll start with blogs!

First, I have a new blog, it's not like I'm obsessed with blogs or anything, but this blog is different. It's a blog about me and Sarah's adventures together, so she can read everything we did when she's like nine and I'm in college. To read this blog click here.

So now all we have left is Small Groups. Every-other Saturday we have Small Group. It's were a couple of families from church meet up for a bible study. So last night we had it, and we had some broken toes! One of the kids in our small group ran into a wall and broke his toes! Small groups and be pretty interesting sometimes.

Hey drama llama readers! So sorry it's been almost two weeks since the last time I blogged!! Just got back from the 4th-8th grade church mission trip!!! It was so awesome! I don't have those pictures uploaded yet, so that will have to be my next post, but this post is about a big problem!!! Text talk has taken over my typing/writing/talking! I'm struggling to uppercase and correctly type this post!! I have been texting, chatting on yahoo (my email) chat, chatting on facebook chat, and just talking in text talk!! Even writing letters and school work in text talk! So since I really really really really really really need this, I'm gonna do it: type this next paragraph in text talk!!!

I have to tell you this!!! After the Mission Trip, everyone who went was invited to the Sounds Baseball game!! All of us (The Community Church Group) sat in the same spot, the spot my dad calls "the spot where all the foul balls fly to". Well, my brother was apparently perfect in that spot! Now, before I go on I have to tell you about my brother, he looks like Justin Beiber so we all call him Justin Beiber, now, I will continue. Some dude (idk much bout bball) OOPS! I meant (I don't know much about baseball) hit a ball hard and it slammed my brother( a.k.a Justin Beiber) right in the face!! Now he has a giant goose egg on his forehead! I'm sure my mom will blog a more detailed post so check into her blog soon!

"Mom, come outside! See our hotel!" "Ok, sweetie, I'll be there in one moment." (one moment later) "Ahh!!!" "Uh, Oh. Mom!!" "Somebody call dad now!!!" "Should I call nine one one??" "Quick grab Sarah!" This is what my Friday sounded like at 10 til 5 pm. Mom was coming outside to see our "outdoor trampoline hotel" when she fell down the porch steps while holding Sarah!! I was on the trampoline at the moment she fell. I immediately dashed down and grabbed Sarah while my mom was laying in the back yard screaming and crying. I rushed in to call dad while Jaden wiped off Mom's tears. Ben got some ice and dared to touch Mom's foot to put on her. Her foot was really really swollen. It just keep getting bigger. (no offense mom) Mom called Mrs. Lewis and we went over to their house while she went to the ER. Scary.

She came back with this boot and this really awesome crutches. I just LOVE her crutches!! I've been walking in them ever since she got them! I'm finally getting taller, and taller, to the point of where I'm soooo close to being tall enough for those crutches. I just throw on a pair of high heels and boom! So anyway, it's finally after the 48 hours that she can't move. That was kinda annoying that my own mom couldn't move for two days. She couldn't even come in my room.

Anyways, I've been making her breakfast. Omelets and Scrambled Egg. I just love cooking and baking so if you're ever hurt just call me and I'll make you some breakfast, really. lol.

Memphis vs. St. Johns

You've read my post about the terrible loss a few weeks ago. But if we look at the bright side, Memphis made it to the NIT!!!!!!! Well, the Not Important Tournament, but anyway! Ok, so Memphis vs. St. Johns was televised Wednesday night. I was up at church with my dad, Nolan, and Luke and Ben. (not like Ben really likes a basketball, he was just hanging out.) We were watching the game off the big screen. I was sitting on the giant wall thing getting ready for a victory jump. There was ten seconds. left and Memphis was up by one point. St. Johns ran up and scored a perfect lay-up. We all sadly screamed. (except for Ben, he just looked at us like we were weirdos) 6 seconds left in the game. Wesley Witherspoon dribbled up the court, ran by the side of the goal, completely lost balance, fell down, as he fell down he threw the ball, he hit the ground, the ball went through the goal at the same time that the buzzer went off!!!!!!!!!! I jumped off the wall/pillar thing screaming as loud as I could! I ran across the floor and jumped onto Ben's back. (he got kinda mad about that) Everyone (except Ben) was running, screaming, jumping, clapping, and eventually, falling down from all the running.

Memphis vs. Houston

I was sitting inches away from the TV in the chair with wheels or as I call it, the rollie chair. It was one of Memphis' biggest games. If they won, They would make it to the top four in the NCAA. If not, none of their games would even be televised. Memphis has not had the best team this year. By far the best player has been Eliot Williams. I am a huge Memphis fan and was really hoping that they could up their game as best as they could for the huge game of, "Memphis vs. Houston". So as I was saying I am a HUGE Memphis Tigers fan!! I have the pom-poms, the T-shirt, and my dad and I go to a yearly annual game!

So here I am sitting inches away from the TV with thirty seconds left on the clock. If Houston made this point they would win and if Memphis made the point they would win. The clock started. Houston made a beautiful (I hate to say that) lay-up. And (sadly, very sadly) made the point. But no! It wasn't over! There was fifteen seconds left and Memphis had the ball. Memphis made an amazing three point shot that went right through the basket. My dad and I ran around the living room screaming and celebrating. But then we looked at the screen and the points were not changing and everyone on TV looked sad, mad, and just plain confused! It was a double dribble. Memphis lost and I just got up, and walked away.

Grand Ole Opry!!!

Recently my friend invited to shop at the mall and then go to the Grand Ole Opry. It was a ton of fun! At the mall we went to shoe shops and tried on really big high heels! (I wish I had a picture of that, I was about a foot taller!) We also tried on giant sunglasses. (Sorry, I don't have a picture of that either!) After alot of looking and alot of trying on we found a picture booth and took our picture. I LOVE picture booths! The printer printed one big picture and one little picture. I keep the little picture. Here's how it turned out......
Then when we were done looking in the shops we had dinner at the "Rain Forest Cafe". The food was really good! After eating we looked in the "Rain Forest Cafe Gift Shop". I got this one really pretty bracelet and a mood bracelet! According to my mood bracelet right now I am........."Very Relaxed"!

After that we went to The Grand Ole Opry. It was totally awesome! I had a great time!!

I had the chance to be COMPLETELY in charge of lil' sis while my parents and little bros went to Disney World. (under my grandpa's supervision of course!) I don't have any pictures of the experience 'cause mom took the camera with her on her trip so you should check out her blog 'cause she'll probably blog about it. She's a really good blogger.

So any ways what I'm saying is that I was in charge of her for a LONG time! (it makes me feel sooooooooooooo responsible!) So I asked my mom if I could an award. She gave me two options, getting every block of my color (you should know what blocks are if you've been following my blog) or to go on an activity with her. Easy chose...... ACTIVITY!!!!!! So last night we went to go eat at "Brixx Pizza"and to see "The Tooth Fairy".

It was an extra awesome night!

Roller Coaster Day

Today was a roller coaster day. It was good and bad.

First I couldn't find my watch! So what was I going to use to time my shower? I ran up to my dad and asked him if I could use his wireless alarm clock. He said yes. I hopped in the shower and as soon as I turned on the water the clock fell! I tried to fix it and failed. So now I owe dad money for a new alarm clock and mom money for a peppermint pattie.

Then, later that afternoon I had just finished a craft. (five minutes later). "NO!" I had just sat on the craft! I quickly pulled off my pants and ran to the laundry room. Of course my totally immature brothers screamed "OHH! Michaela's in underpants! OHH!" I ran to get the "Instant Stain Gel for All Your Stain Needs" which of course was empty!

So we just threw my jeans in the wash hoping for a miracle. And we got one! I am very thankful for washing machines!

And the look of my art is kinda better now except for the fact that I swished the "n" and my name.
Speaking of look I did a new hairstyle today! Check it out! I am very thankful for hairdryers and curling irons! (and shampoo and showers, if we didn't have those it would be a really gross world)

I woke up Sunday morning and glanced over at my calendar. It said...... "February 14 Valentine's Day". Hooray! It was Valentine's Day. I quickly got dressed and got into the car and on my way to church. I remembered to bring the Valentine's I had made for all my church friends. They looked like this,

The Art Show

Today I made an art show! The idea first came into my mind when Luke, Gabe, and I were painting. We each entered two paintings, one or two oil pastel drawings, and Luke and I entered one "Random Rambling". Finally, after several days of drawing, gluing, and painting, came the day that we would set up the art show, TODAY! I borrowed my mom's painting easel and a small table and the small chairs that go with it to set up the art show.

And so that they could easily find the art show I made signs with arrows on the computer.
Everyone had their own "station". I was next to the easel,

Luke was next to one of the chairs, and Gabe was behind the table!

We decided that we would sell them for money, but when our mom came in to see the art show she said that our prices were too expensive. (the highest price was $1.50) So instead she suggest that we pay in blocks. Blocks are these little blocks that we have to earn to watch TV, go on the computer, or play video games. We earn blocks by doing thirty minutes of activity. Each block is worth 15 minutes. So we cashed in on that.

Shortly after my mom came back with the bag of blocks, and that's when an "incident" happened and she ran out. If I tell you the incident you'll probably get really grossed out so I'm not going to. So after that I sanitized everything with disinfectant spray and took a shower so she would come back and...... it worked! And she brought dad back with her! All of the paintings sold as soon as they walked in! It was very successful!

Three Days of Snow Fun

Friday night is when it all began. It snowed and snowed and snowed. It was going to be the biggest snow in a very long time and......... It was!!!

I woke up Saturday morning and there was so much snow!! It was somewhere in between 4-6 in.

Very excitedly I hopped out of bed and got up my brothers. We all sat in the living room watching TV until our dad got up to feed us cinnamon rolls. Then we all (Yes, every single one of us, even Sarah) finally got bundled up and ready to go play in the snow. Sarah had on a very precious snow suit. She looked so cute! Around 11:30 we went outside to find that the girl that lives three houses down was all ready out.
We invited her to go sledding, and then we all went to the best sledding spot ever, the massive hill next to our neighborhood swimming pool!!! It was so much fun! In my next post I'll post a video of Luke and me sledding down that massive hill!

My mom and dad went sledding too. During that I held Sarah and Ben took a video. Look at this pic of me holding Sarah! Isn't it so cute!

The next day it was themed, "Snow Fun!" Because everything we did was related to snow and it was a lot of fun! We made a snowman together and then pretzel snowmen together!

Today (This is the final day) I started to make a snowman in our front yard and then Ben came out to help me. Shortly after, I went to my friend's house unaware that he was going to move the snowman to our backyard and turn it into a snow alien! Oh Boys!

I am very glad that it snowed and I hope it last 'till at least Wednesday! Happy Snow Days!

Hairdo Anyone? Part 2

Yesterday, I got a new hairdo. (well, not really a hairdo, more like a haircut) Well anyway, here's what happened, my hair went from long to short.

I walked into the shop with a picture. My dad looked at the lady and said, "She would just like a trim." Then I told the lady, "I would like it a tiny bit shorter than the picture." It turned out like this.

It's a few inches shorter than it was before and with less layers. (it still does have layers, you just can't see all of them) My dad calls it "The Stubborn Girl Haircut". He thinks that I couldn't communicate to the lady and tell her what I wanted. I did tell her what I wanted and I did get the haircut I wanted. I think it's cute!

Hairdo Anyone? Part 1

Yesterday I gave Gabe a hairdo!!!! I made it very fluffy or as Gabe says, "ROCKIN" Here's how I did it.

First I used a curling iron to bring back the upper part of his hair.

Second I added a little gel for shine, volume, and body and then combed through it.

This is the result.

Tea Party!!!

Yesterday my sister and I had a tea party. First I laid a pink blanket out on the floor. Next, I set up the tea stuff! Here's how it looked. (minus one plate that Sarah ran off with right before I took the picture)

Sarah was a little disappointed to find out that there wasn't any real food, but why let the ruin a tea party, when there's pretend food!

I tried to teach her "pinky's up", but she was a little busy mixing the tea with sugar, cream, and her desert. (invisible banana split, yum!)

Sarah wanted me to wear a straw hat with flowers so badly but she didn't know how to tell me, so she tried to force it on to my head. During this the camera was in my hand and I got this pic!

I love having a little sister to play with!

The Wild Fun

I have a story to tell today, and you'll probably find it quite interesting. Ok, this is where it all began.

I was in my room laying on my bed doing a math test, then I heard it, "Whaa! Whaa! Whaa!", the crying of a young boy. I hopped off of my bed and walked into Jaden's room. He was laying on the ground crying and Ben was sitting next to him. If you know Jaden then you know that he has horrible mood swing, and I mean horrible! So about two seconds later he stopped crying and started laughing really hard. Then he walked over to his toy box, grabbed a few toys and threw them at Ben and I. Ben and I jumped into his crib for protection as he walked into the hallway to get another toy. Ben suddenly got the idea that I should cover him with a blanket, make him look like a giant pillow and then pretend I'm asleep. I did. As soon as Jaden walked back into the room with a plastic screwdriver I pretended to be fast asleep. Apparently he believed us because after a couple of tries to hit us with toys he went into his own fantasy world and left the room. Then Luke and Gabe walked in and suggested that I make a giant fort in the crib and make it look like there were a bunch of stuffed animals under the blanket. (Time out! I usually never do anything like that with them because they always make a giant mess. I don't know what on earth got into me) After alot of work this is what a got. (the basketball goal canopy was Luke's idea)

After it was done Luke, Gabe, and Ben jumped in there to wrestle! Oh, Brothers!

This is what it looked like once they were done! Afterward, Ben and I cleaned the room very quickly before my mom could see the mess! It was alot of fun! (not the cleaning, building the fort)

Sleepovers, Picture Frames, and Butterflies

I have three things to blog about today, sleepovers, picture frames, and butterflies! I'll start with sleepovers.

Friday night I had two of my friends spend the night. It was a bunch of fun! We curled our hair, stayed up 'till 4:30 a.m, watched "American Idol" (one of my favorite shows!!!), and of played "Pretty Pretty Princess". ('cause that's what all the 11 year old girls play now a day. don't you know?)

We also decorated a pillow case with fabric paint. Isn't it so cute?

Now we move on to Sunday, time to blog about picture frames! My mom had gotten me a cute little heart picture frame, the kind you can paint!! I painted it purple with white polka dots, then I added sparkly silver paint around the boarder.

Now it's time to blog about butterflies. I was cleaning out one of the drawers in my room and I found these cute paper butterflies. I used my masking tape to put them on my wall. Don't they look great?!

Oh, The Things You Can Do With Fabric Paint

For Christmas I got fabric paint and two plain pillow cases. I decorated one of the pillow cases, but saved the other one. I realized you can do alot of stuff with fabric paint like, add grips to the bottom of your socks, decorate the top of your socks, and decorate a T-shirt. First I'll tell you about the T-shirt. It was the night before New Years Eve and I knew we were going to a New Year's party, so I decorated a T-shirt. Here's how it turned out.
Next I'll tell you about the socks. I decorated two pairs. I used 3D fabric paint. On one pair I made gripps, on the other pair I did them both differently. One had my initials and the other had polka dots. Here's how they ended up.

Now, the pillow case! I decorated it with memories from December 2009. Isn't it cute!

I can't wait to decorate the other pillow case! Fabric paint is so much fun!

Snow Day!!!!

I got up yesterday to find a nice surprise!!!! SNOW!!!!!! There wasn't much snow in the morning, so I decided I would eat breakfast and do school before I went outside. Once I finished I decided there was enough snow for me to go outside and play. When it snows I like to bundle up!! I wore three pairs of pants, three pairs of socks, one shirt, three jackets, one coat, two pairs of gloves, and earmuffs!!!! Then it was time to go outside. After I went outside Luke came, and then surprisingly, Gabe came outside!!! Poor Ben. He missed out on all the fun. He slept in incredibly late, and then we he did get up, he would not come outside!! Catching Snowflakes

Gabe, Luke and I came up with a fun plan to surprise attack our dad!!! We all picked a spot in the yard to collect as much snow a possible and make them into a bunch of snowballs, then Gabe would go inside and ask dad to take a picture of us, and when dad came, we would throw the snowballs! We ended up with about twenty snowballs, and our plan worked!!!!

After a while we got pretty cold so we went inside to warm up. I decided to make some smores to warm us up. They were yummy!!

After eating smores there was alot more snow outside. That's when I decided to something that my dad makes look so easy. Run outside in his underwear. Since it was snowing I slightly changed it to, Run outside in a tank top, gym shorts, and flip flops. Here's a video!!!!

After warming up again I decided to make a snow sculpture of my sister, Sarah. It took a lot of sweeping, scooping, and collecting snow to make this but it was worth it!!

When it got to dark to play outside my mom and started on a delicious snack! White Chocolate Covered Pretzels!! They were really fun to make! First we melted the chocolate!
Then we dipped the pretzels, laid them on parchment paper, and added sprinkles!!!

They turned out cute, and delicious!!!

It was a great Snow and Snack day!

My Trip to Memphis

"Michaela, it's time to get up," I heard my dad say. I turned my head towards my alarm clock and glanced at the time. It was around seven in the morning. Once I finally got out of bed I slipped on my Memphis Tigers T-shirt and a pair of jeans. It was the day my dad and I drove to Memphis for our second annual daddy-daughter trip to see a Memphis Tigers basketball game.

About thirty minutes later, I grabbed my coat, gloves, earmuffs, and pillow and hopped into the car. There was no traffic, so the car ride was not that long. Even though it was very cold outside, I was warm with my coat over me like a blanket and my head on my pillow.

Once we finally arrived at Grandpa and Grandma's house in Memphis, Tennessee, I took off my coat and we stayed for a while. The warm house smelled like coffee and her famous pound cake Grandma was baking for us. After a little while it was time to go. My grandpa drove my dad and me to the Fed-Ex Forum and dropped us off. We hopped out of the car and walked up to the ticket line. After buying tickets, we went to find out seats.

As the game began the whole arena turned dark. There were a bunch of blue and white lights flashing around the room. With "The Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background, the announcer named all of Memphis' players. We even got to see the players' pictures on the big screen!

Memphis played a great and exciting game, and they even won!!

After the game Grandpa picked us up and we went sight-seeing and to the Spaghetti Warehouse for lunch. I love the seating there! Some seats are in a bus and one is a telephone booth! We sat next to the bus; the food and service was great!!

After lunch we headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's house and ate some of that delicious pound cake! YUM!!! We spent the rest of the day with them. It was the perfect ending to our daddy-daughter day!

New Years Eve and New Years Day

We had a really fun New Years! First we went to a New Years Eve party at our friend's house! It was a lot of fun!!

But of course, we went there in 2010 style!!

I made a shirt and some 2010 glasses!!

Then Ben went to his friend's house to spend the night. Once we got home it was nearly 11:00p.m. We got ready to celebrate the New Year!!! We all (except for Ben, Sarah, and Jaden) huddled around our TV and watched the ball drop in New York city!!! Once it hit the ground, those stuffed animals flew into the air!!

Christmas Day!!!!!

I woke up Christmas morning at 7:00 a.m. to find that everyone was still asleep. I tip toed past my parents room and up the steps to wake up the boys. I tried Ben first. I told him that Santa had come and left a giant present but he would have to come down stairs to find it. He told me to go away. I tried Gabe next. He got up, came downstairs, and then threw up all over the floor! So then, I threw some towels over it and got my parents.They took care of Gabe. I went back up stairs and told Luke that his stocking was empty, that didn't work. He finally got up, so I turned up the radio really loud and saw my dad's phone up there. He must have forgotten to get it before he went to bed. I made a Christmas morning video that got ruined by screaming brothers.When every one finally got up at about 8:30 we ate a delicious breakfast of muffins. Then we went over some of the names of Jesus and what they mean. After that our grandparents arrived.Then we opened presents!!!! Every year we each draw names of siblings, then we buy a present for that sibling. I got Sarah! I bought her a Lady Bug Popping toy.
She's a great present opener! Every year I get my mom some kind of cute kitchen tool. So far she has an egg man whisk, a potato man potato peeler, a chef man pastry brush, and this year, a chef man pizza cutter!!!
I got my dad a pair of exercising gloves! Jaden got alot of Mickey mouse stuff. He is a huge fan of Mickey mouse!

Luke and I had a present to both of us! We opened it and it was a note!! Here's what it said,

We both ran as fast as we could to the garage, here's what we saw!!!!

We both had new bikes that were our size. Before we shared my bike from when I was little.

Our Paw got a Panera Bread gift card!!!!

Then it was time to open Santa presents, the little boys got a train table and the older kids got DJ HERO, and the DJ HERO guitar!! It was a great Christmas!!!

My 11th Birthday

Two days ago was my birthday, but we went out to eat on Sunday after church at my parents favorite Mexican restaurant. My parents told our waiter that my birthday was the next day, so they came to our table with a huge foam hat and a Mexican desert and sang a Spanish version of "Happy Birthday". Oh, and then after they sang they tried to feed me the desert but I wouldn't open my mouth, so then they put it up my nose!!!!!
The next day I woke up and it was my birthday!!!!! I took a brake from everything, making my bed, showering, school, making any food, and yes, brushing my teeth.

Before we left for birthday dinner Ms. Amber came to our house with a box. Inside the box was a giant princess cupcake from Gi Gi's Cupcakes!!!! Yummy!!!! Thank you Ms. Amber!!

Then we went to Birthday Dinner. I chose Fazoli's!! It was really yummy!!

After dinner we loaded up in the van to look at Christmas lights!

This one was by far the best! We all thought it looked just like a ginger bread house! Does it not?

When we got home it was time for cake and presents!!!

After cake I opened the presents. This year I wanted some clothes. I got just I wanted!
I wanted a silky shirt, leggings, and this pair of cute high heels.

My Birthday Party

Friday, we had the biggest birthday party in my life!!!

The theme was "Costume Party". Everybody dressed up as their favorite movie or storybook character! Our family was the people from "Peter Pan"

My mom was "Wendy"

My dad was "Captain Hook", and Luke and Gabe were his helpers

Ben was "John Darling" and Jaden was "Michael Darling"

Sarah was "Tinker Belle"

It was a lot of fun!!! Thanks to Ms. Sue and Ms. Amber (Bob and Larry) we also had a lot of fun games!!!

And instead of presents this year we asked everyone to bring a donations to collect goats for people on the other side of the world through World Vision. We did not only collect enough money for one goat but enough money for four goats!!!!!!

My Christmas Wish

I think snow is a wonderful thing. It's soft, pure, white, and just plain beautiful!!!!! How I wish we could get some real snow. Every year we get like an inch of snow. I wish we got 20 inch's of snow!!! Just imagine it, a mountain of snow, a field of snowmen, a palace of snowgirls, a park full of snowdogs. Well, I guess maybe not the snowdogs! If you know me, you know about me and dogs!!!! We don't really mix!!!!!

Anyways, my Christmas wish is that for just this one year, (or maybe next year, or the year after that!!!) That it would snow on Christmas!!!!

GROUNDED!!!!!

You may have noticed that I haven't blogged in a week. I try to blog every few days but this week I was, GROUNDED!!!!!!!! I hate it when I'm grounded, which if you happen to be wondering, that doesn't happen very often. I'm usually a helpful young one on a happy day but sometimes I'm grumpy.

Ok, I know you want to know why I was grounded, well, here you go. It all started when my mom decided to take lunch to people. I had to babysit. Babysitting is not my favorite activity, especially when I'm babysitting Jaden.

Most of you know Jaden. To you he's sweet, adorable, lovable. This is only half of Jaden's personality. Here's the other half, rude, loud, obnoxious, does what he wants when he wants. And worst of all, he pees all over the place if you don't help him go to the bathroom!

So anyway, I was babysitting Jaden. Luckily, he fell asleep, so I got really bored. I decided instead of school, why don't I color a crazy rash on his leg!! WARNING: IT THIS IDEA COMES INTO YOUR BRAIN NEVER EVER DO IT!!!!! Unfortunately, I did it. After I finished the rash I decided to wash it off. Worst idea ever! He wouldn't go near the water but I got soaked!!!! Just imagine my mom when she got home!!! That is why I was grounded.

A few days later he was in nursery at our church and when my mom came to pick him up the teachers where like, "Look at this rash!! Where did it come from?" Apparently, I did a good job!

If I had to Plant a Flower.........

Today I ate an apple for lunch so I am going to blog about it.

I do not like to eat real food. I like to eat popcorn, ice cream, and anything chocolate! I do like junk food, I shall admit, but I always brush my teeth and run and play. The apple was actually very delicious. My favorite fruits would have to be the apple, the banana, the squash, and the honey dew melon. My favorite veggies are, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and green peppers. (But I do not like to eat green peppers alone, I like them with things.)

Eating fruits and veggies makes your muscles strong! (that's a song!) THE FRUIT AND VEGGIE SONG!
I like veggies and fruits!

I encourage you to eat fruits and veggies like I ate the apple today. After I ate the apple I pooped popcorn and put chocolate chips in it. Do not be foolish like me, be wise, EAT THE APPLE!

Pumpkin Pictures

It is a tradition in our family that every year we go to a pumpkin patch and take pictures. For me that means sitting in a pile of pumpkins holding a baby smiling until we have enough pictures to work with. But this time it was different, there were jumpies and food and a hay ride. We had come to the day of the fall festival. Since we were in a pumpkin patch I brought a dollar to buy a little pumpkin. It was nice to find out that the little pumpkins were 50 cents each! I got two beautiful mini pumpkins. I love mini pumpkins. They are such nice fall decorations!
Our pumpkin picture turned out GREAT!!!

Babysitting

Oh, the joys of babysitting. Babysitting is either so great or so terrible. I've never babysat anyone but my siblings. Usually I baby set with the help of my older brother. But sometimes I end up having to babysit him! Usually we just babysit the three babys, with the youngest one asleep. We can't babysit my oldest younger brother because he is very wild. We've never babysat for more than three hours, so I think it should be referred to as baby babysitting. Usually when I babysit my parents go on lunch dates. (with my wild little brother.) But a few days ago they decided to have their lunch date at home and make all of us stay away from the kitchen. I hated that. I would rather babysit then have to stay completely away from the kitchen at lunch time!!

Babysitting is super crazy when your little brother is potty training. Luckily he's done potty training now but he wasn't then! Even though he's done potty training he still doesn't like to wash his hands. How gross!!!

Here are a few babysitting tips I've learned.

Put on a movie. They might fall asleep!
If you put on a movie pop popcorn. It makes a nice snack.
Play a game like, Duck Duck Goose, or something less wild like Quiet Mouse Still Mouse.
If they start to cry rub their head.
If they are bad don't do time out, tell them you'll tell their mommy or daddy.
